How do they work?

Gently push down and forward and they pop up and automatically turn on.  Push down until closed to turn off.

How do they adhere to things? 

All Pop-up MicroLites include both tape and magnetic mounting options allowing them to adhere to metal, plastic, wood, leather, and even cloth.

How big are they?

They have a nickel-sized footprint and overall are about the size of a die (as in, one of a pair of dice) when closed so they take up very little space.  When turned on they're about the size of a pair of stacked dice.

Are they durable and reliable? 

Most definitely.  Pop-up MicroLites have gone through extensive testing to ensure that they are extremely durable. They are completely weatherproof and will continue to operate even if submerged in water.  When closed they are nearly indestructible and can even withstand being driven over with a large truck many times! Why do they pop up?

Some height is necessary to allow the light to be directed downward.  However, it’s also important that the product is small and out of the way when not in use.   The patented pop-up ability allows it to be tall when on and small when off.

Are they water resistant and weather proof?

Yes, they can even be submerged in water with no loss of function.

How long do the batteries last and are they replaceable?

The batteries last about 30 hours and yes they are replaceable.  Pop-up MicroLites™ use two lithium CR1225 coin cell batteries.  For instructions on replacing the batteries please see here.  In many cases it may be cheaper to instead just purchase a new Pop-up MicroLite™.

Do they really fit on on even a remote control?

Yes!  Pop-up MicroLites will fit on about 90% of remote controls.  They require about the same size area as a nickel.
