     MicroLite Tech Inc. is the leader in a new product category known as hands-free microlighting. Before we introduced Pop-up MicroLites™ in 2011 such a category didn't even exist.  Sure there are tap lights that you can stick in a closet or cabinet, but not only are they huge by comparison they are extremely limited in their uses.  Most lighting products are not hands-free and the few that exist are large and generally designed to illuminate a room or large area, not objects or surfaces.  Only Pop-up MicroLites™ can illuminate things like a breaker panel, or a remote control, or a lock, or the ports on a computer, or a clipboard, etc.  Our patented line of hands-free microlighting devices can illuminate all this and so much more.  We currently have nearly a dozen hands-free microlighting products in development.

John Teel is the Founder and CEO of MicroLite Tech Inc.  John has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Microelectronics from the University of Texas.  He has designed numerous successful electronic microchips which are now in many popular portable devices including the Apple iPod.  In addition to Pop-up MicroLites™ John has patents in the field of microelectronic circuit design.
